Cascade Clinical Educator – Nina Bondre, CPO, FAAOP
Nina provides a wide variety of experiences in the orthotics and prosthetics profession. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in Neuroscience, followed by her Masters’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics from Northwestern University. She enjoys learning about new technologies and componentry to assist clinicians in the field. Nina joined Cascade Orthopedic Supply, as a clinical Educator in 2019 to help support Cascade’s diverse product offering through clinical and technical guidance and education. Nina will also be focusing on product comparison and current research to clarify indication and considerations for various designs. Nina’s clinical specialties include RGOs, HKAFOs, and KAFOs.
O&P Insight Owner – Lesleigh Sisson, CFom
Lesleigh has been committed to serving the O&P community since 1992. Prior to starting O&P Insight, she served as Director of Administration for a multi-practice company. During her experiences in administrative and clinical support roles, she recognized the need to assist dedicated professionals working towards the common goal: to provide excellent patient-centered care while achieving successful reimbursement. Lesleigh helps independent O&P practices not only survive, but thrive in today’s challenging and ever-changing healthcare environment with its demand for efficient work flow and successful compliance.
O&P Insight Medicare Compliance – Michelle Wullstein
Michelle’s Medicare experience began in 2006 at Noridian Healthcare Solutions, a Medicare Contractor, working under both Part B Physician’s, and DME Medicare contracts. With Michelle’s background in Part B Physician’s services, she is a helpful asset to orthotic and prosthetic suppliers as they navigate compliance, and communication with their physician referral sources. Michelle has spent most of her time working with medicare as an education conduit for DMEPOS. As an education representative for Noridian’s DME contracts, Michelle served as an orthotic and prosthetic specialist, working closely with suppliers and medical review nurses. She helped them to better understand the intricate balance between Medicare compliance and business operations for O&P facilities in today’s world. Michelle understands that orthotic and prosthetic suppliers face a unique set of challenges compared to traditional DME suppliers and finds joy in helping them overcome these challenges and thrive in today’s market.
