Pro-Fit Liner

SoftSil Liner

The SoftSil is the first silicone liner to use ALPS’ proprietary OptiSil technology, setting a new standard for skin-friendly solutions in the industry. This specialized OptiSil is composed entirely of pure, hypoallergenic silicone that is free of any additives, establishing it as a safe and reliable option for users. With its lightweight and smooth composition, the SoftSil allows for gentle skin contact while simultaneously promoting the skin’s natural thermoregulation. Plus, unlike many other silicone liners available on the market, the OptiSil does not feature a sticky or slippery surface, ensuring a moisture-free experience for the user. Premium Sleeves: RFX and RFS

ALPS Reinforced Flex Sleeve and Reinforced Straight Sleeve are constructed with OptiGel, gray high-performance fabric, and a centrally located internal fabric layer to withstand wear and tear around the brim line of the users’ socket, alleviating some of the difficulty when dealing with reoccurring holes in higher active amputees. With advanced OptiGel Technology, the sleeves effectively adhere to the patient’s skin, eliminating the need for additional support and preventing the sleeves from rolling down the amputee’s limb. At the same time, the gray fabric’s differential stretch qualities provide maximum stability and control to the wearer, enabling them to move around with ease and confidence. The gel, combined with two layers of fabric, ensures that the sleeves hug the amputee’s limb securely, offering long-lasting, comfortable, and reliable usage.

The only question is whether to choose a pre-flexed sleeve (RFX) or a straight sleeve (RFS). With the RFX, users will experience the benefits of its 30° pre-flexion construct, providing ease of knee flexion while reducing bunching and discomfort behind the knee. In contrast, the RFS sleeve is an excellent choice when pre-flexion is not required, as it will significantly reduce the need for frequent sleeve replacement.
